Dolpo Trek

Trip Overview

There are very few treks and adventure trips in Nepal during the summer and monsoon seasons which is considered as a slow/off season.

The Dolpo region due to its location in the rain shadow of the northwestern part of Nepal offers feasible weather conditions for those looking to travel in an isolated, crowd free and sparsely populated villages. The trek offers excellent views of Himalayas, challenging passes of over 5000m and gives you an insight of the rich culture of the Buddhist and Bon Po religions.

One of the highlights of the trek is the tranquil beauty of Shey Phoksundo Lake which is the deepest lake of Nepal famous for its crystal clear water and turquoise color with no aquatic creatures
