Overview

Escape the Crowds and the Rain Seeking a Himalayan adventure during the summer or monsoon months? The Lower Dolpo region offers the perfect solution. Nestled in the rain shadow of northwestern Nepal, Dolpo boasts feasible weather conditions when other parts of the country are experiencing the off-season. This unique geography allows for a spectacular trek during a time of year when few others are available.

A Journey of Stark Beauty & Deep Culture

This is a journey into one of Nepal’s most remote and culturally preserved regions. The trek promises not just physical challenge but a profound cultural immersion, taking you through sparsely populated villages where ancient traditions thrive.

The Expedition Experience

Accommodation: This is a full camping trek. You will sleep in comfortable tents under vast starry skies, with all camping logistics handled by our expert crew.
Meals: Our kitchen team prepares hearty and varied meals, offering a mix of local and familiar dishes like rice with fresh vegetables, noodles, pasta, dumplings, and local breads.

Best time to trek : Due to its unique rain-shadow location, the best time to trek is during the summer/monsoon months (June to early October), when the skies over Dolpo are often clear while other regions experience rain.
