Overview

Pisang peak lies just north of the Manang Valley which passes through the famous Annapurna Circuit. It is an excellent climb for those who simply wish to get a taste for what the big mountains have in store. It can be combined with the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek.

Brief Itinerary

  • Day 01:
    Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
  • Day 02:
    In Kathmandu for official procedures and preparations
  • Day 03:
    Drive Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 m) – Bulbule. Overnight in lodge
  • Day 04:
    Drive to Dharapani (1860m). Overnight in lodge
  • Day 05:
    Trek to Chhame (2651m). Overnight in lodge
  • Day 06:
    Trek to Pisang (3333m). Overnight in lodge
  • Day 07:
    Rest day at Pisang for acclimatization
  • Day 08:
    Trek to Pisang Base Camp (4380m). Camp
  • Day 09:
    High Camp (5400m) of Pisang Peak. Camp
  • Day 10:
    Summit Peak (6091m) and return to Base Camp. Camp
  • Day 11:
    Trek to Manang (3540m). Overnight in lodge
  • Day 12:
    Trek to Yak Kharka (4018m) via Manang. Overnight in lodge
  • Day 13:
    Trek to Thorang Phedi (4450m). Overnight in lodge
  • Day 14:
    Cross Thorang la pass and trek to Muktinath (3798m)
  • Day 15:
    Drive to Jomsom. Overnight in lodge
  • Day 16:
    Schedule flight: Jomsom-Pokhara and transfer to hotel
  • Day 17:
    Schedule flight: Pokhara-Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
  • Day 18:
    In Kathmandu
  • Day 19:
    International departure

  • Travel insurance, personal medical expenses and rescue evacuation
  • Personal climbing gears.
  • Any cost arising due to landslides, political disturbance, strikes, cancellation of flights, and deviation in program.
  • Tourist visa for Nepal and international flight to/from Kathmandu.
