22 May, 2017: The long wait for David and Szilard has finally ended. They have left base camp to camp II this morning for the summit attempt. They will reach camp III on 24^th May and Camp IV on the 25^th.

Irina Galay, Victor Bobok with Pemba Tenjin Sherpa and Pasang Sona summitted on the 20th May. Irina Galay becomes the first Ukrainian to reach the summit of Mt. Everest.

The Heroes Project Team USMC Staff Sergeant Charlie Linville became the first combat wounded veteran and founder Tim Medvetz reached the summit on 19th May along with camera man Kazuya Hiraide
